Log on as Administrator or as a user with software installation privileges 2. On your hard drive, create a folder (directory), e.g., C:\MyFolder Copy the file InstallMotionGenesisToCurrentFolderPC.exe to C:\MyFolder. From within C:\MyFolder, double-click on InstallMotionGenesisToCurrentFolderPC.exe. 3. If licensed, copy your MGLicense.txt file to C:\MyFolder 4. a. Right-click on the shortcut MotionGenesisStartHere (.lnk) b. Select Change Properties, c. Correctly edit the "Target" text box to target MotionGenesis.exe Double click on MotionGenesisStartHere to start MotionGenesis. 5. Similarly, change the targets on all shortcut links: a. Select Change Properties c. Edit the "Start-in" text-box B. To alternate between an editor and running a file named Fred.txt, a. Double-click on MotionGenesisTerminal to open a CMD terminal. b. Type MotionGenesis Fred.txt c. Type Quit d. Use the editor to modify and SAVE Fred.txt e. Press the up-arrow key in the CMD terminal to recall the command MotionGenesis Fred.txt f. Press Enter to again run MotionGenesis with the file named Fred.txt g. Repeat steps c-f C. To run an AUTOLEV file, start with the command: SetDefaults( AUTOLEV )
