Windows 95/98/Millenium/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 (self-extracting)
- Download this file
to your computer's C: hard drive.
(e.g., right-mouse-click here and select Save Target As ...)
- Browse to the downloaded file (e.g., with Windows Explorer).
Double-click on the downloaded file and then click OK.
- Accept the default folder for the Java .dll files by clicking NEXT.
(These files may already be installed. You may skip or overwrite them.)
Wait until the .dll files are extracted and installed.
- Double-click on MotionGenesisStartHere to start in demo mode.
- If you purchased
a license or new textbook (as part of a classroom adoption), follow
the on-screen instructions and send
your computer's unlock code to
Motion Genesis.
- When you receive your MGLicense.txt file, copy the file to your
computer's MotionGenesis folder
(on the root of the C: drive).
If you have a demo version,
purchase a license
or
contact Motion Genesis.
- Double-click on PlotGenesis to start MotionGenesis's
plotting software

Macintosh OSX (Zip file)
- Download this .zip file
to the root (top-level) of your hard drive.
- Unzip the file InstallMotionGenesisMacintosh.zip from the root of your hard drive
(e.g., double-click on the file InstallMotionGenesisMacintosh.zip).
- The folder MotionGenesis should appear on the root of your hard drive.
(If the folder appeared elsewhere, drag the folder on top of your hard drive icon).
- Browse to the MotionGenesis folder.
- Double-click on MotionGenesisStartHere.term to start in demo mode.
(if this fails, double-click on the file MotionGenesis).
- If you purchased
a license or new textbook (as part of a classroom adoption), follow
the on-screen instructions and send
your computer's unlock code to
Motion Genesis.
- When you receive your MGLicense.txt file, copy the file to your
computer's MotionGenesis folder
(on the root of your Macintosh hard drive).
If you have a demo version,
purchase a license

contact Motion Genesis.
- To exit MotionGenesis, type
exit
at the MotionGenesis prompt.
